Paul Bozzo, Consultant

Paul Bozzo is a labour and employment mediator based in Toronto, Canada, with more than 15 years of experience and over 2,000 mediations to his credit. Paul has worked across a wide range of industries, helping employers, unions, and employees navigate challenges around terminations, contracts, grievances, health and safety, organizational restructuring, and human rights. Known for his tailored, interest-based approach to mediation, Paul is dedicated to fostering constructive dialogue, building trust, and empowering his clients to achieve outcomes that are both fair and sustainable. He holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University and certificates in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and Advanced ADR from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law.

Paul began his mediation career at the Government of Canada before moving into a consulting role in employee relations at one of the country's largest banks and later, led a team of employee relations professionals at a publicly-traded company. Currently, Paul works as a senior mediator at the Ontario Labour Relations Board, an independent adjudicative tribunal which plays a fundamental role in administering the labour relations regime in Ontario. A passionate instructor, Paul has also contributed to legal education as part of the teaching team for Osgoode Hall Law School’s flagship “Lawyer as Negotiator” course.

Beyond his professional work, Paul volunteers as a “fairy godfather” for Melanie’s Way, a Canadian charity that grants "wishes" to women diagnosed with metastatic cancer. In this volunteer role, Paul helps to organize personalized trips for the women and their families that focus on maximizing joy and creating shared memories with their loved ones. He loves to travel, having visited more than 40 countries with his husband, Daniel, and enjoys life at home with their rescue dog, Finn.
