Sion Park, Research Assistant
Sion Park is a Ph.D. student at Stanford University whose research examines border politics and dispute resolution, with a comparative focus on the U.S.–Mexico and Korean contexts. She holds an M.A. from Columbia University and a B.A. from Carnegie Mellon University and is currently a Research Assistant at Columbia Law School's Center for Korean Legal Studies, where she contributes to research on inter-Korean negotiation and dispute resolution under Professor Jeong-Ho Roh.
Sion has previously served as a Research Associate at Seoul National University, contributing to the Institute for Peace and Unification Studies (IPUS) on inter-Korean negotiation and to the Global Development Institute (GDI) on comparative governance and policy. Earlier, she worked as a paralegal at DLA Piper, supporting cross-border M&A and EU data protection matters.
At CNI, Sion will work on a variety of initiatives, including co-authoring new simulations and conducting research related to negotiation ethics.
